Serves him right, doesn't it?
pain and anguish like never before,
a guilt, he never was sure of,
which he conveniently did ignore.

Winds and clouds, only he could think of,

Enlargement NOT desired

Let me make this clear first that the title of this post in no way reflects my desire/disgust about the concept of penis enlargement and also whether I need it or not.
I was browsing through net one day to while away my leisure time. With my dad sitting on a different system beside me, I had to stay away from anything that might ruin 'good-homely boy' image with him. I came across some article which I thought was worth sharing with my dad. What I totally overlooked was this image on the top of the page before I called on him to read:


Just when the realization dawned, I scrolled down a bit towards the middle of the page,while my dad was still reading it, only to find this image:


"Fk!!!" I used my entire energy not to stare at this image and started whistling,crooning in haste and embarrassment. Thankfully my dad finished quickly and by the time I scrolled down to the bottom of the page, the following image awaited:


Now that was it. I closed the tab immediately. After my dad turned back to his work, I took a sigh of relief and opened that tab again to have a good look. I have never loathed anything more than this advertisement. Its practically everywhere, on every page of every site. Once I saw a "provide feedback" link along with the ad. I did provide my feedback to those blithering idiots, the advertisers and even gave my e-mail id for them to respond. Never heard from them yet!
My suggestion to the advertisers of Vimax: Please do not taint the regular "family" sites with your stupid ads. There are certain sites (and I'm sure with immense amount of hits) where you can engulf the entire web page and nobody would mind. Leave me alone!

Face-lifted but ugly still

Recently I came across one article which mentioned that Rakhi Sawant has got surgery done on her face to look more beautiful! (Are you kidding me?) When I saw the 'Before' and 'After' pics, all I could think of, in comparison, is this:

Welcome to Coke studio: Hear it to believe it.

Coke Studio embodies a musical fusion of exciting elements and diverse influences, ranging from traditional eastern, modern western and regionally inspired music.

Let me make it clearer. One chap thought of a concept wherein various music artists just come together, jam and perform. Another chap thought why not air these sessions on TV and make some bucks out of it. And you know what, it worked!

“Coke studio”, the name might sound stupid to some, funny to others. Someone even suggested that it is the name of a new pesticide! But I feel it’s cool in its own weird way. Now let’s talk about their sessions. I have just two words for what they play: Brilliant improvisation. They invite various artists across Pakistan and work on their songs. By the time they finish, the songs have been transformed so beautifully in a way which you cannot even imagine! Total rearrangement of music. You will have to listen to them to appreciate fully. Its like a sanjeevani booti for any ardent lover of music. For not-so-ardent-music-lovers, it’ll just be good pleasing and soothing music. If nothing else, watch their episodes for the two chicks who provide backing vocals and harmony.

Coke studio has paid me nothing to advertise their content through my blog or my google-talk. Its just that, since it is not being telecast in India, I want people out here to be aware that such brilliant stuff exists. Here’s my crib: Why not in India? Why are we fed that foolish saas-bahu crap day in and day out? These soaps have become such an obsession that every episode is telecast four times a day. No kidding. I’m not sure whether its the viewers’ obsession or the producer’s dirty trick (you know, if fed in large frequent quantities, even bitter medicine starts tasting good).

Anyway, I hope I get to see such shows in India soon. Although I can’t help but write a sweet little note to President Zardari: “There’s a lot of amazing talent possessed by people of your country. Encourage THEM and not ISI.”

Coke studio is into its season 2 now. I wish them success and hope they continue to provide good music.
